Stockland Wendouree and Tokyo Sukiyaki House present a fun and hands-on food event designed to inspire children to create their own healthy Japanese Bento Lunch Boxes.
The wonderful Chef and staff from Tokyo Sukiyaki House will teach participating children and their parents how to make cute Japanese Animal Sushi Rice Ball (Onigiri) and how to prepare a Japanese lunch box full of healthy colourful vegetables and rice.
Children not only get to learn a traditional Japanese culinary art form, they will also have their own chef uniform and Sushi animal mould to take home and practice with.
It is a daily challenge for parents to prepare kids lunches. Japanese lunch (Bento) box is a fabulous way of providing a variety of foods!
With various compartments, you can pack a healthy, perfectly portioned, exciting and wholesome meal. They also increase the chances of kids trying new foods, while increasing their fruit & veg intake. Parents & children can enjoy the creative process of deciding what to put in the box and how to make it fresh and new every time!
Time: 4.15pm & 5.30pm (Sessions are 1 hr & suited to school aged children)
